Raven is still unconscious. You sit on the rock and saw everyone crying. You saw Mimi sobbing and Douglas who is trying to comfort her. Perry was lying on the rock few feet away from them, acting asleep. She was covering her eyes with her left arm but you saw tears on her face. And Goldie was sitting trying to think things though.
After a moment you saw Raven who’s trying to sit but Goldie immediately walk towards him to stop him from moving.
“You’re still weak, rest for few hours.” Goldie said and assisted Raven to lay down.
You speak up “Who are those people who caught you off guard? Don’t you think I deserve to know?” then everyone looked at you. Raven give off a sigh and nods. Then Goldie explained everything.
“Each of us has been the representative of each of our clan ever since we were young. In such an early age of 3 most of us awaken unique abilities that has never been seen for hundreds of years. At the age of 8, we were all send to Morthendrew the Capital. We were trained from sunrise to sunset. No matter how much our bones break or tears that falls from our eyes, the people who train us never shows us mercy. They always say that all of this is for the greater good and for peace of the world. The king who rule this world is nothing like us. He was more like you. Since the prophecy given by the goddess, everyone believes that the king and every one of his kind are the savior who meant to save us from this so called prophecy. All of us who are blessed with abilities has to suffer and not just us but also those who came before us. This happened for hundreds of years. We were treated like animals without feelings. The two people you saw are the sibling of Mimi and Douglas. Douglas younger sister was gifted with the ability to read and feel emotion to every creature. She was skilled in battle but very sickly. At the age of 17, she collapsed during training and was send to the royal healing but after week she never return. Her name was Clair and She was the best friend of Mimi and Raven’s lover. The day we receive a message that Clair will never return. So, Douglas and Raven plan to save her. Mimi’s brother heard about this and help them but during battle Douglas messed up and Riko was caught but the rest of us spared. The next day rumors said that both Riko and Clair was dead.
